We specialize in the primary care of women, especially in the area of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility.  As such, we have obtained advanced education and training and are Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  We are fellows of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  We are a professional healthcare team.  Although you choose your own personal physician, one of us is always available for office care, hospital care, and telephone consultation.

We are located adjacent to Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, across from the emergency department.

B. Sanders Watkins, M.D.

Sanders is married and has a grown daughter and a granddaughter.  He speed walks every morning and swims every noon.  He is an avid reader, a SCUBA diver, a performing bagpiper, and an accomplished pianist.
Norman D. Nelson, M.D.
	Bachelor of Arts, De Pauw University Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis Residency, Obstetrics and Gynecology - U.S. Naval Hospital, San Diego Joined the practice in 1979
Norm is a retired Captain in the U.S. Naval Medical Corps. He and his wife raise and show cutting horses and are both accomplished competitors.
James N. Gilbert, M.D.

Jim is married and has three sons and two dogs.  He enjoys golf, running, and woodworking but spends most of his free time participating in his boys' activities.
Rachel McCarthy Beck, M.D.

Rachel and her husband, a pilot, have two daughters.  They enjoy skiing, hiking, and other athletic activities.
Analisa Marki-Dunn, M.D.

Analisa and her husband, a local I.T. business owner, have three cats and a dog.  When not dedicating their energy to work, they like to travel, ski, and spend time with their "furry kids."
